For the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force, Touchstone was the principal consulting firm in the design, development, and deployment of the Air Force Performance Measures and Reporting System (AFPRMS).  AFPMRS depicts key performance measures that allow a user to quickly evaluate how the Air Force as an organization is performing against its mission essential tasks. This customized, real-time reporting tool is now in use by all major commands.

In partnership with the director of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Touchstone developed an innovative strategy to move the agency away from its central focus on budget related matters toward one that emphasizes initiatives and investments.  As a result, the agency achieved sizeable boosts in its productivity, value, and customer focus.

Touchstone supported the Director of the Office of Management and Budget's Office of Electronic Government and Information Technology in the completeion of the first step toward citizen-centered, results-oriented, market-based electronic government, helping OMB win quick approval of 24 high payoff e-government initiatives. Touchstone is now assisting OMB's e-Government Portfolio Management Office in the implementation of these initiatives.  This endeavor is initiating the replacement of hundreds of disconnected and redundant e-government investments with an integrated portfolio, a structured review process, and investments linked to the overall strategy.

For the Director of the Missile Defense Agency, Touchstone created an enterprise framework that clearly establishes roles and responsibilities for all core processes of the organization.
